CM Sai pays tribute to former Prant Pracharak Shantaram Ji
Offers floral tribute at the mortal remains of revered Shantaram Ji
Raipur, September // Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today visited Jagruti Mandal, Pandri in the state capital Raipur and paid homage to former Prant Pracharak of Chhattisgarh, revered Shantaram Ji. Chief Minister Shri Sai offered a floral wreath at his mortal remains and bowed in reverence.
Chief Minister Sai said that revered Shantaram Ji was a senior Pracharak of the Sangh and shared a deep personal bond with him. “He always blessed me with affection and guidance like a guardian. His demise is not only a loss to the Sangh Parivar, society and the state, but also a personal loss for me,” the Chief Minister said. Praying to the Almighty, he wished that the departed soul find place at His divine feet and that all well-wishers be granted strength to bear this profound grief.
Former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, while paying tribute to revered Shantaram Ji, said that he was like a father figure to all of us. “He revived Madku Dweep and contributed significantly to nation-building. Through his humility and life values, he became an ideal for all. As a senior Pracharak of the Sangh, he treated the people of Chhattisgarh and the volunteers as his own family and guided them constantly. Even during my tenure as Chief Minister, I always received his love and blessings. With his passing away, the entire state is grief-stricken,” Dr. Singh said.
On this occasion, Cabinet Ministers Tankram Verma and Gajendra Yadav, Guru Khushwant Saheb, former Governor Ramesh Bais, Rajya Sabha MP Devendra Pratap Singh, Rajnandgaon MP Santosh Pandey, MLAs Anuj Sharma and Motilal Sahu, Chairman of the Minority Commission Amarjeet Chhabra, Chairperson of the Child Protection Commission Dr. Varnika Sharma, Chairman of the Agriculture Welfare Board Chandrahas Chandrakar, along with a large number of volunteers and citizens were present.
